Thornberrys' Wild Animals
|
Eliza
While
normal children her age are transfixed by the flashing lights and
artificial life of their video machines, Eliza has the Serengeti, the
North Pole and the Amazon, teeming with wildlife, for her backyard
playgrounds. Eliza possesses a love for wild creature land, and problem
solving ability as her mother. She also seems to have a curious bond with
animals of all shapes, sizes and species. I dare say it’s almost as if
she can communicate with them in their own language!
Nigel
Nigel
Thornberry remains filled with a childlike sense of wonder and a boundless
love of the natural world. As the host of “Nagel Thornberry’s Animal
World”, he can often be observed displaying his voluminous knowledge of
animal spices. He loves his family more than anything, although he is
occasionally a bit puzzled by his two daughters, His lovely wife would
surely attribute this to his artistic personality. A perfectly normal
characteristic of an adventurer/naturalist, extraordinaire of course.
Debbie
Debbie
is 16. She inherited her beauty from her mother, but I’m nor sure where
she came upon her obsession with whining boy singers and high fashion. I
suppose she just exhibiting characteristics of a normal teenaged homo
sapience - which include being as strong willed as a rhinoceros, nearly as
courageous and surely as quick-tempered! She may seem aggressive at times,
but deep down, Debbie’s truly as gentle and innocent as a lion cub.
Marianne
Marianne
Thornberry, filmmaker, producer, adventure, teacher, and mom. It isn’t
easy to be Marianne Thornberry, but Marianne is incredible grounded, and
she has as uncanny knack for seeing her family members as they are: a
brilliant, but, admittedly, sometimes absent-minded husband, an overly
adventurous younger daughter, and an overly, well, teenage older daughter.
Like a female lioness, Marianne will do anything to protect her pride –
she’s the glue that keeps all together and civilized out here in the
wild wild world.
Darwin
This
chimpanzee is sometimes more human than anybody from Thornberrys.
Especially when he’s around Eliza. It seems they share a secret language
of some sort. And on top of that,
Darwin
has what I can only describe as a personality. He’s a neurotic,
obsessive neat freak! But he’s also Eliza’s constant companion, and I
know that he’d do anything for Thornberrys.
Donnie
Donnie
is a most amazing discovery. A truly “wild” boy, we came upon him in
the jungles of
Borneo
.
His development in the wild has afforded him a sort of “sixth sense”.
Miraculously he can detect whenever danger is in the air. He can become
more than a revolutionary discovery or a remarkable specimen to us, though
– he has become a member of the family.
